Abstract

The research reviews the Encyclopedia of Islamic Banking, which included the most prominent research contributions in the Islamic banking aspect. The encyclopedia covers all that researchers have produced in this aspect, whether through theses, or extensive research in periodicals and books, conference articles, or those writings those have been published only through Digital means. The research aims to provide a comprehensive analytical vision of these writings. This research is of great importance because of the highlighting of the work of the encyclopedia, which means bridging some difficulties for researchers in guiding their research towards existing needs, and carefully selecting them, to prevent repetition and duplication, and to achieve The highest added scientific value. The research included three basic investigations, the first in the statement of the work of the encyclopedias and their tasks, the second in the statement and classification of the sources of research included in the encyclopedia, and the third in the analysis of the general features of the encyclopedia. The most important results of the research is that the research participation of specialists in Islamic banks is very low, and Islamic banking institutions faces a problem in the method of education.
