Abstract

Objectives: The study aims to clarify the concept of the term failure and its meaning in language and terminology, and to present the verses that dealt with its derivations, which amounted to four verses, where they were collected, arranged, and classified, and to study the contextual and objective significance of the term failure, and to clarify the words related to it, and to clarify its types; its causes; its results; and ways to prevent and treat it.

Methodology: The nature of the study required following the inductive approach, through induction of the verses in which the term failure was mentioned, and induction of the meanings and connotations that this term carries. In addition to the analytical approach, through interpreting the verses analytically, looking at their semantic and objective contexts, and extracting the meanings derived from them.

Results: The study concluded that surrendering to failure is a negative behavior, whether at the individual or collective level, and failure has reasons that lead to it, some of which are material, and some of which are moral, which is the most influential, so caution must be taken against them and avoided; To keep the nation strong and cohesive, avoiding failure and its causes that delay its progress and undermine its position among nations, as the word failure in the Holy Book in its four places came in the plural form; to indicate that it struck the masses of the nation, warning them.
