Abstract

This research came to provide a description of an important book of the Islamic sects, and to know its author: This book is the oldest book in the Islamic sects until today, and it was lost until recently. What made the scholars of the fundamentals of religion know its importance even before its existence is that the book has a mention and reference in the most famous books of the difference, such as the book The Difference Between Difference for Al-Baghdadi, and the articles of the Islamists by Al-Ash’ari, they attributed to him sayings, and they transmitted texts from him, except that the book itself was lost until very recently ; This book is the book of essays by Abu al-Qasim al-Balkhi, the deceased (319 AH-931 CE). He is one of the scholars of fundamentals of religion who became famous in the doctrine of retirement. And he has a great stature with them until a group of them called ALKaabyia was attributed to him. His book, the subject of study, is concerned with mentioning issues of the fundamentals of religion and stating the opinions of the difference in them. The research will show its method in his book, the extent of its objectivity in it, and highlighting the importance of the book in the science of difference Perhaps the researcher will find its effect on whoever was taken from him. The effort made by the demonstrators will also demonstrate this great impact. Perhaps one of the most important results of this research is the conclusion that Maqalat al-Balkhi is the oldest book that has come to us in Islamic sects, and it has only one original manuscript until this time. The book has scientific value in its chapter, method and presentation. The researcher recommended that the scientific heritage of all groups and sects should be taken care of objectively, without prejudice and fanaticism for one group over another.
