The search for the true meaning of the term "joy" in its Quranic context, through a scientific approach, aims to understand the Quran's guidance to humanity in expressing and directing their emotions, especially those related to joy for what Allah has bestowed upon them and favored them with over many of His creations. This understanding seeks to liberate individuals from the domination of desires and whims, thus achieving true servitude to the Creator of the heavens and the earth and facilitating the adherence to the Sharia (Islamic law) that He has chosen for His worshipers as they wish. The research delves into the study of the term "joy" in the Quran, adopting a terminological approach and practical methodology. It examines the significance of the term "joy" in dictionaries (Section 1) and its contextual meanings in the Quran (Section 2), leading to conclusions that help ascertain its meanings and definition (Section 3). The research is introduced with an introduction and concludes with a summary of results and recommendations. Among the key findings are the distinctiveness of the term "joy" in terms of its importance, frequency of occurrence, and multiple forms in the Quran. This highlights the significance of understanding its meaning, especially due to the various styles and contexts it appears in, thus emphasizing its importance within the Quranic terminologies.
