The effect of interpretive recitations

Abstract

This study deals with the issue of interpretative recitation and its effect on explanation of variant recitations. It showed the definition of interpretative recitation, addressed the concept of giving preference between recitaions, and clarified that giving preference is between explanations of variant recitations and does not mean discarding something from them. The research concluded that the interpretive recitation is every recitation that contradicts the Imam Qur'anic script and gives meaning in explanation, and that the giving preference between the recitations is a giving preference between the two explanation and not between the two the mutawātir recitations, both of which are definitively proven, and that the interpretive recitation may be the basis in which the scholars favored giving preference an interpretative recitation over another.
