Abstract

The study examines the relation between the Quranic meaning with the incidence and frequency of vowels in Quranic pronouncement. In this sense, the main focus of the analysis was put on the remarkable presence of vowels (long vowels) and their role in highlighting some special meanings that fit their pronunciation, as opposed to other vowel-free (long vowels) Quranic sentences with different kinds of meanings. The analytical method was used in linking the occurrence and frequency of vowels (long vowels) to the special meanings associated thereof and any other meanings of Quranic sentences that are remarkably vowel-free. The incomplete inductive approach was also adopted to extrapolate a number of Quranic texts as examples of these cases. The incomplete inductive approach was adopted to select a number of Quranic texts as examples of these cases. On the other hand, the complete inductive approach was used in a certain stage of the research to count vowel marks of natural and long vowels said examples, and compare them to the number of marks in other types. The research discovered a clear difference between the meanings of the Quranic sentences distinguished by the remarkable presence of vowels and the meanings of vowel-free Quranic sentences. Said difference was observed in both separate and connected contexts for each of the two cases, and illustrated with practical examples.
