This study aims to uncover the secrets behind the phenomenon of linking a verb to itself in the Qur'an and the impact of variations in the objects or elements associated with the repeated verb, or the way they are concluded in the context where they appear. This variation affects the foundational meaning of each instance, suggesting that the purpose of repetition is not merely emphasis or intensification, as many interpreters have claimed; thus, the verb is not simply connected to itself in a redundant manner. The study also examines the perspectives of certain Qur'anic interpreters who assigned multiple meanings or interpretations to some repeated verbs connected to themselves. It seeks to critically assess these views, either by rejecting some due to lack of evidence in the structure of the verse or by preferring one interpretation over another, based on what each repeated element brings to the verse’s context. The study is structured into an introduction and two main sections: the first explores the conjunction of a verb to itself using "and", and the second investigates the use of "then" in this structure. The study concludes with scientific findings, which are presented in the conclusion.
