King Abdullah's II Intellectual Efforts in confronting the phenomenon of Islamophobia

The objective of this research is to examine the intellectual efforts of King Abdullah II in confronting the phenomenon of islamophobia, through his speeches, articles and interviews around the world between 1999-2020. The world has witnessed a growing phenomenon of Islamophobia, and distorted stereotypes of Islam have dominated the media and among political and intellectual elites in the West and around the world, due to the escalation of terrorist acts attributed to Islam, which has exacerbated the Islamophobia. By virtue of king Abdullah's position and influential intellectual activity in the Arab and Islamic regions, and in the world, also his Hashemite affiliation, he devotes great efforts to mitigate the risks of Islamophobia, diagnose its causes, and ways to confront it. King Abdullah has several initiatives emanating from Jordan, to introduce the truth of Islam, to refute the suspicions raised about it, and to spread the spirit of peace and cooperation among all humanity.
