Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to extract female role models from the story of Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) and demonstrate their impact on educating contemporary Muslim women.

Methods: The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach in extrapolating Quranic texts related to female characters in this story and analyzing them to extract educational and behavioral values.

Results: The findings revealed diverse female role models in the story, where Moses' mother emerged as a role model in faith and trust in Allah, Moses' sister as a role model in intelligence and wisdom, Pharaoh's wife as a role model in steadfastness to principles, and the two daughters of the old man as role models in chastity and obedience.

Conclusions: The study concluded that these models provide a comprehensive educational approach for contemporary Muslim women in facing modern challenges, and confirm women's ability to positively influence society through their various roles as mothers, educators, wives, and active community members.
