Abstract

The research addressed the ethical teachings of the philosopher Confucius regarding people’s dealings with each other in light of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, in order to reach points of agreement and disagreement in this regard, and to highlight the superiority of the Islamic approach in reforming the lives of individuals and groups and directing them towards goodness, Confucius presented his ethical system that frames the life of the individual and the group within a philosophical moral system through which the individual can elevate himself to the virtuous human being, Confucius believed in the importance of building human character on virtuous morals and structuring individual behavior accordingly. This is because adhering to morals in one's interactions with others has a clear impact on achieving social harmony, which leads to a strong social and moral reform movement.
