The study explores the rule “the juristic ruling between two rulings”, which is one of the manifestations of the balance in deducing legal rulings from the sources as it concludes legal rulings from conflicting proofs. Therefore, the study examines its definition, relation to relevant terms, proofs of legality, scope, and applications in deducing in-between rulings. The study adopts both the descriptive and the analytical approaches that lead to accurate, scientific conclusions. Some of the conclusions of the study are: The rule “the juristic rulings between two rulings” signifies the balance in deducing the legal rulings while considering the conflicting legal proofs. The study, moreover, recommends the application of this maxim to deal with the new, contemporary legal questions to reach to legal rulings that consider all their contextual and textual dimensions.
