Abstract

This paper discusses the beliefs of the Arabs in the Jaahiliyyah in the issues of metaphysics through a historical critical study of the pre-Islamic poetry, and it concluded that the Pre-Islamic poetry included a good scientific material that showed that the Arabs belief of issues of metaphysics were based on imagination and doubt, and also showed their turbulence of the perceptions to the fate of Man after death as the result of being influenced by their environment which was full of incoming ideologies with different views about existence and its aims.
